Will I lose my contacts if I export Contacts to excel?

I am about to export all my Contacts to an Excel spreadsheet so a print shop
can print them out on postcards for me. Will I lose my Contacts data
permanently to Excel when I do this export?

I have Outlook 2007.

Exporting deletes nothing.
