1- I have DVB card connected to a PCI slot. As you know the anntena cable
has shield that is in contact with the metal body of the PCI card which is
in contact with the case. The LNB is DUAL which another reciever is
connected to it and the user of that reciever reported shock!
That was the reason I looked for a problem and Had the reciever checked and
had no problem and
had the power supply checked with a friends Power supply Tester and showed
no problem
that was when I started looking for the problem with a Contintuity Tester
and BINGO it lighted when touched the case body!

2- can a not grounded PC power supply cause device over heats occur sooner
when under heavy loads like games and ...?

No need to multipost in the same newsgroup. Keep to your original thread.

The answer is as I posted in your previous thread of today. Try sinking it in

As has been already been pointed out need to have all of your systems and
satellite cables grounded to the same ground. Until you do that you stand
the chance of someone getting electrocuted since you have live power on your
case cover.

Why post this same thing when answers were already posted in "Power
Supply Problem". Many insults you. Others posted technical answers.
For example, that power supply tester reports nothing useful. It
cannot report a power supply as good. It can only report a defective
supply. And it does not address questions in your various posts.

So why do you ask the same question here as if no answer was posted
there?
