Will Autofix.exe work for me

Hello all----

Have same problem as many others; when I connect camera, nothing happens. I have read many of the threads with similiar problems. My XP lists my Finepix in the device manager, where the USB ports are listed, and shows to be "working properly", as do the ports. However, mine has no "letter" assigned to it ,as Yves refers to, in the prepared response given to many others. My camera has a number after it (020815). Yves says that the letter assigned to the camera will be needed for the Autofix. Any suggestions? (Have also uninstalled and re-installed driver.)
P.S.-I also had updated Realplayer, but I think it was after the fact. I have deleted it, and rebooted, but that didn't help. I was looking for an excuse to delete it anyway, I've read there are some security issues with that player.

Well, well, well.---
My camera wizard is on a user account, and not on an admin. acct.! The software was installed on admin. acct., and that is where all the other pics are, but lately, had been unable to dwnld. pics from the camera. Just for "fun", I tried to dwnld. the camera on the user acct., and there was the wizard!! Go figure. Does anyone know why it would be on a user and not on admin. acct.?? If nothin' else, I'm just glad to be able to get the pics off the camera. See ya------
