Hi, hope this is in the right section!

OK, I admit I am a technophobe... !

I'm looking to get broadband set up on the laptop I'll get this week... I dont know where to start! Please can anyone give me some advice on the half-decent, cheap-as-possible suppliers, and just how do I go about it - does the laptop have to have a card slot or do the internet people all do USB port conections?

I can't connect through a home phone line, it has to be just the PC.

There are lots of ideas and suggestions and sites,where you can find out how to set things up, provided by forum members who know a lot more than I do.

Give it a try - I managed to get mine going. :nod: :thumb:
 
thanks! Im ok with broadband but only on the home pc, not laptops! Anyone any experienc eof Orange or t-mobile internet?
