hi ,can anyone tell me how i can boost my netgear router signal ? ,because i
am unable to use my laptop in my downstairs rooms . thank you

Not that this has anything to do with the .NET Framework or with
programming, but you need a better router. There are routers available that
have built in range boosting components, along with speed enhancing
circuitry. Many claim a 2x - 3x range increase over standard routers.

There's much cheaper solutions. I highly recommend Asian cookware.

Alternatively, some aluminium foil and basic mathematics will suffice.

What Netgear router do you have? Mine (WGT624) has range boosting built in,
I get my signal about half a block away. I now have two wireless networks in
my home, you could consider getting a wap (wireless access point) with
greater range.

If it is an older router, consider a new one. It will die eventually any
way, if my experience is any measure.
