Dear Sirs
I have a desktop tunning XP Home with a USR 802.11b wifi
card. The computer I want to connect is a laptop with
another wifi card XP Pro, orinoco card. Actually, they
were connected, but I updated the version of the driver
for the desktop, and now I have been unable to reconnect
them, even using system restore.
I have been able to make the two cards recognize each
other, but there is no "traffic" between them. I try to
enable Internet connection sharing, but I believe the
cards simply are not communicating. Have tried to
enable/disable wap, fixed ip´s etc.
Does someone has a simple paper on how to connect
wireless network in ad-hoc mode, and how to check if the
devices are communicating. After that I want to have a
network and Internet connection sharing enabled.
Thanks and regards
Roberto
