New motherboard that has been in storage. A P4T533-C. Turned on and get this
wierd intrusion message and can not get out of BIOS. Is there any intrusion
detection hardware on the motherboard? I have put two other of these
motherboards together with no problem. The Manual does not seem to address
this issue.

See page 37. It says that you need to keep a jumper on the Chassis
Open Alarm Lead pins (if you're not using the feature) or the system
will not boot.

Jumper is on the Chassis Open Alarm Pins. The header has room for four pins,
but one is missing. The jumper is on the only two pins next to each other.
The manual from the ASUS web site does not have a page 37. It skips from
about page 28 to 42.

That sounds right. Maybe you should try a different jumper in case
the one you're using is defective.

That seems odd. I have the printed manual that came with the
motherboard.
