Wierd happenings

Can any one please help ? I have had my homepage all set up nicely for years
wth all my bookmarks and use hotmail have a profile etc and all of a sudden
its all changed and cannot restore it back. Have tried going back to the old
dates to restore, re booted several times in all the different modes but
cannot get the old page back. Should I just take the laptop in to a store and
get them to tweak it.

Download, install, run, update and perform a full scan (separately) with the
following two applications (freeware versions are the ones to use for this):

SuperAntiSpyware
http://www.superantispyware.com/

MalwareBytes
http://www.malwarebytes.com/

After performing a full scan with one and then the other and removing
whatever they both find completely, you may uninstall these products,
if you wish.

What AntiVirus software do you have?

I suggest something simple and effective like AntiVir, Avast! or AVG... eSet
NOD32 is great if you want to purchase one.
 
Wow that was fast, thanks for your help I will download them and give it a try.
I have Norton and you wold think it would catch it, its running all the time
and updated. Tony
 
I guess I should have mentioned that it is only funny when I log in, there
are two users one is OK but my home page does not go back to normal yet.
