Wierd bug

when i am installing anything the next and back buttons
are there but there is no text in them there is no text in
the window itself...partial text is visible..what the heck
is going on here...any help

What Service Pack level do you have installed for the OS?

Do you have Windows Installer 2.0 installed? If not, get it here:
