Just this afternoon I discovered some wierd behavior in both "My Computer"
and "Windows Explorer". Whenever I try to access and view some files within
a particular folder, the computer immediately acts sort of like it is
shutting down, with all my desktop icons disappearing, briefly, then the
desktop returns to normal, but with the My Computer or Windows Explerer
window eliminated.
If I right click the particular offending folder, I can see that there are
lots of files and sub-folders within, as I knew there should be, but I can't
seem to get at them through these two programs.
However, when I use other software, LviewPro for the images, and Windows
Media Player for the video files, they can access the files and show/play
them correctly.
What is going on? How can I get back the functionality of my interface with
this folder?
