Hi

Thinking of ditching my trusty iilyama 19inch Vision Master Pro - A901HT,
and getting a widescreeen TFT 20 or 21 inch.
I am an avid games player, and wonder if there are any software
compatibility problems with widescreen monitors.
I run an ATI X1950XTX, so will be looking to use the maximum screen
resolution of 1680x1050

Thanks

I have read, not having a TFT myself, that games are not usually
designed for widescreen and end up stretched to fit. Maybe a call to
the tech centres of brands that take your fancy would be a good call?

Most games are not made to fit onto a widescreen. So the resolution is
screwed with and everything ends up stretched. Personally I would get two
regular size 19" monitors and just run them side by side. This is a much
more commonly supported feature.
