widescreen for windows

I just got my hands on a new widescreen display. Is there
anyway I can configure windows to display in 16:9? Is
there a service patch I need to DL?

You may like to install the correct video drivers for your monitor. Please visit the monitor
manufacturer's website and download the appropriate drivers.
