I get disconnected from my own wireless network while on my
home network. I simply get a message stating that "no
wireless connection available" and when I refresh the
available networks mine doesn't show up. I never have this
problem on my school network, and it just started happening
since the power went out while my desktop was running. My
laptop is where I'm having problems and it is annoying. I
do not have 802.11x authentication selected for my network,
so I'm not sure why it keeps kicking my laptop off. The
device manager states that the Broadcomm 54g integrated
card is working properly. Please Help!!!!!

Thank you in advance

Bryan

Hi,

Do you have any 2.4GHz cordless phones in the area around your router and in
your home?
Also microwaves can cause interference whenever they're 'cooking' something.

Try changing the channel of your Wireless Access Point, and keep trying
different channels to find one that isn't congested.
