why wont yahoo messenger explorer bar remove?

I am trying to get rid of all the yahoo junk on my
computer but one program remains even after i
try 'add/remove programs' from the Control Panel. I hit
it and the screen flutters but it remains.
Anyone know why this is happeneing or how to fix the
problem (ie get rid of it)?
