Why won't some Audio CDs work?

Most of my Audio CDs work perfectly on my PC and I've ripped them. But a
couple don't seem to get recognised on what is a DVD-RW Ultra-Speed, although
they work perfectly on my other PC, which has a DVD-ROM and CD-RW (both
High-Speed), and on a regular stereo. Any ideas on how to solve this?

Burning isn't the issue. I just can't get a couple of pre-recorded Audio CDs
(out of many) to be recognised on that one drive.

Did you read the answer to : Q. I used the Player to burn a CD but it won't
play in my home (or car) stereo's CD player. What's wrong? Just click on the
"Q" for the answer
in the first URL I posted.

In addition, what I was trying to tell you that the files may be protected.
You'll have to burn them to an Audio CD and re-rip as unprotected files.

I re-checked your links but you're still putting an emphasis on burning. I
have no problem burning, and as I said, the CDs in question (as well as the
many others that have been ripped successfully) are all pre-recorded. And
it's not a protection issue because I can rip them on my other PC. The CDs
just aren't recognised in any way or form. After a long attempt to read, it
finally stops and any attempt to view via Windows Explorer only causes the
drive to make another attempt to read the disk.
