Why wont my cursor move i know its pluged in!

My cursor just sits in the middle of the screen.its
plugged in its not usb either.sometimes it does move but
when t does it goes psycho fast movements and clicking
when i dont want it to please somebody help me!!!!!!

your mouse is dying you will need to purchase a new one that happend to me
recently so I bought a microsoft usb mouse and it rocks
