Why won't can't I publish with frontpage 2003?

It was working before but now I keep getting an error:
"Unable to open 'http://(my site name).com'
Server error: An error occured accessing your Windows SharePoint Services
site files. Authors - if authoring against a Web server, please contact the
Webmaster for this server's Web site. WebMasters - please see the server's
application event log for more deatails.

FrontPage Extensions ARE installed on this server, this was verified with
technical support. They, however, are telling me that everything "looks fine
from their end" so it must be a software problem.

I have uninstalled FrontPage 2003 and reinstalled. I have downloaded all of
the available Office updates and I still can't get in to publish.

Any suggestions or comments?

Your host needs to tell you what is in their server log file.
