I've installed business contact manager for Outlook 2003 as explained. I have
it listed in left-hand navigation pane; however, there is no "business tools"
listed on menu bar. Tried reinstalling, same result, any explanations?

I had this problem too -
you go to the Help About Menu and there is a button called Disabled Items -
when you click it - you should be able to enable Business Contact Manager -
and then you will see everything on the menu -
I actually had to email Microsoft to get this info - you would think they
would have it in a knowledge base doc -
Good luck

Thanks Vic,

You were on the money! And you're right about the ms knowledge base too!
Thanks a million!

Hey Trav and Vic,

Thanks for the tip on this - I finally enabled BCM using the method below
however I must have a corrupt file somewhere because after going through the
set up process a dialog box appears saying "Microsoft BCM/Outlook has
encountered a serious error ... blah blah .... and must close" .

I've uninstalled and reinstalled about 3 seperate times now with no joy. I'm
feeling I might give up on this part of the application now...

Any ideas?

Hi

Check if you have .Net Frame work 2.0 beta in add/rem and if you do
uninstall the same. You may also want to create a new profile in Outlook

Gidday Raul,

Yep, I had read thru some other discussion you had posted the same sort of
response to - so I gave uninstalling Net Frame 2.0 a go... I'm happy to say
that it worked a treat and I can now use BCM with no worries.

Cheers for taking the time out to respond!
