Why will Outlook not let me calendar new meetings?

Outlook Calendar will not let me create new meetings or change past ones. It
will let me do all of these things in my archived calendar, but not my
regular one.

If you have a solution, I'd appreciate it.
 
What happens when you try? Also, What version???
