Why when I click on display nothing comes up?

Why when I click on DISPLAY in the Control
Panel Appearance AND themes does NOTHING come up?

Supposed to get the box with the Display Properties so I can go to Settings
so I can make everything bigger like on my desktop, where I can see things
much better.
My desktop is set at 800X600 and 32 highest bit.

I think my lap top is set in the thosands as the text is so tiny I can
barely see it at my age of 51.

Try right clicking on your desktop and select properties.This should bring
up the display panel you are looking for.
