why we have to add DirectShow Indeo3,4,5

If i add the DirectShow Indeo3,DirectShow Indeo4,DirectShow Indeo5 ,What
type of benefit i ll get. can anybody help me,

DirectShow Indeo codecs were added to FP2007 again, IIRC.
Not sure what "benefits" you are looking for but obviously you'd need those codecs IN if the software you are going to install on
the top of your runtime would require the codecs.
