A few days ago I posted the message quoted below. It appears that within
the same day it was pulled from the newsgroup, no longer to be found.

I was just wondering why? The article is not critical of VB.Net. It
praises it from beginning to end. But even if it was, why would it be
pulled from the newsgroup?

Just wondering. If I have done something wrong, or of bad tasted, perhaps
someone could explain.

"For any that are intersted I have written a white paper titled Non-Web

Hi Woody,

Your message is still visible in the newsgroup (with the answer from
Herfried). I have an open email adres, just replace it as I wrote, I am

I doubt that it has been removed from the newsservers. I think you are
referring to this thread:

Well, for reasons I am at present unable to explain, it does not show up in
my Outlook Express Newsreader.

I will investigate.

Thank You

Cor,

For reasons I can not explain, the message does not show in my Outlook
Express News reader. It did at one time. I do not have your original
message. If you will tell me again what email address to send to or email
me at the address below I will be glad to do so.

Maybe resetting the group helps, but I don't know because I am not using
OE at the moment.

Woody,
Did you post it more then 5 days ago? Did you change the default on when
Outlook cleans up your local files?

OE has a default of 5 days on when it removes articles from the local files
(to save disk space).

See "Tools - Options - Maintenance - Cleaning up messages".

Hope this helps
Jay
