Why to disable MS key?

usually for a security reasons.

when you want the end-user to use the computer as a terminal device, and not
to access any system function (MyComputer Manager for example). which can be
accessed using MS Key & keyboard shortcuts.

Gamers frequently like to disable it also as hitting it inadvertently during
game play interrupts the game.
