Why title masters?

This may be linked to my other post a few minutes ago, but I don't see the
purpose of title masters? If you have to make a change to the title master
then how is that saving you time when you could be making the design change
to the title slide itself without having to open up the title master view,
etc.
Even if you have more than one title slide you could still just make then
change to the title slides themselves without having to open up the title
master.

Can someone let me know?

Thanks very much.

Studebaker,
The thing is when you change the master title slide, all title slides in the
presentation will be affected, so you only have to change it once. If you do
not do this you will have to change each title slide individually which will
take considerable time.
Of course if you have but one title slide then do not bother. That is why in
PowerPoint 2003 and in earlier versions, you have to add a title slide
master yourself if you want to use one.

Thank you, Luc.
