About 12 April Windows installed some updates automatically when I switched
off the PC. Since then a dialog box appears with the message "Click to run an
ActiveX control on this webpage" every time I visit the web site
'www.EleganceStyle.com'. This site plays music in a frame. It is this which
is causing the message to appear. Why has this problem suddenly occurred, and
how can I stop it, please? The Advanced Internet Option "Allow active content
to run in files on My Computer" has always been set, and still is.

OH THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!! FOR THE LAST TWO DAYS I HAVE
BEEN GOING CRAZY TRYING TO STOP THAT ACTIVE X BOX FROM POPPING UP AND CLOSING
DOWN MY WEBSITE. THE PATCH SURE WORKED:)

Hate to ruin your day, but it will only work for a short while :-(
Webmasters need to update the code on their websites to the new stuff

cyberdanson:
Oh drats, Lars, what do we do when that happens???:((

You just have to click on active content to activate before using :-(
That's the way it is (unless the webmasters fix their pages that is)

Or, you can use another non-affected browser (like Opera and Firefox)
