why the target designer always corrupt?

Dear Sir:
It is my first time to use embedded xp, although I have studied emdded
system with linux for one years. However, I have one serious problem with
using the development tools, espeically with "target designer".
When added component "explorer shell" "nt loader" and "ntfs", the
target designer always corrupt. After debugging, I found it has something to
do with an instruction "call ". I cannot rule out this problem.
Can any one help me?

It seems there is little info for the FNG to get his system set up,
partioned, install the appropriate files to include boot.ini, NTDETECT,
NTLDR, and setup your ARC path. If you don't get this right from the start
you are hosed! Still looking for this info. You should also use a separte
hard drive until you build your image - don't use your flash. There seems to
be a huge amount of info and experts out there, but the new guys are left to
struggle. Is there a good article on how to get up and running. If not, I
plan on writing one after my painful learning experience (if I still have my
job).
