Why does the fax icon disappear in the control panel in my
computer? Also I cannot find the fax menu in the start
menu->Program->Accessories->Communication->Fax.

How can I see the fax icon again?

Please give more details. When did the fax icon disappear - do you suspect
of any action that could have made this? This may happen if you don't have a
fax modem on your machine and you don't have any connections to remote fax
printers.

I really don't have any fax modem nor fax printer
connected to the computer. However, I have two computers
and one of the computers really has fax icon in control
panel while the other one has not. So why that computer
has no fax icon? Can I make that computer have fax icon
again?

It appears if you have a fax modem installed and enabled...

If you don't, then it doesn't matter if the icon is present or not, since
its not something you could use anyhow

Same applies for the Fax Printer... the fax printer will not appear if you
don't have a fax modem present

If you really need it to appear, then what you want to do is turn off your
computers and remove the modem from the computer that shows the icons and
install it in the computer that doesn't show the icons... when you boot the
computer up now, it will have the icon automatically! (mind you, the other
computer will no longer have it...)
