During the day I have trouble getting pages turned on some of the servers on
the web: some pages on msn.com, Reuters, etc. For instance:

https://secure.investor.reuters.com/

http://moneycentral.msn.com/

I have a "high speed" Internet cable. The ISP checked the transmission rates
and they are up to their standards. They are very good actually even in the
peak hours.

What can I do to improve the speed of turning around pages?

It probably isn't you. Their is a lot more to it than just your own
machines and the link you have to the ISP.

When it is slow try using Tracert to find where the "slow hop" is occuring.

Thanks.
