I'm about ready to move up to a Athlon 64 X2 3800+ based upgrade. If I'm not
a gamer (and I'm not), would the integrated video on this board handle daily
tasks?Given that my current rig is an XP 2600 with a FX 5700 vidcard, I
should be OK, neh?

Well, the board has a PCI x16 slot, so if your get tired
of the onboard video, you can always buy a new video card
and fix it.

There isn't much to distinguish 2D performance on most
video designs - it should work just fine for office
applications. It also has enough movie features, that playback
of movie content shouldn't be a problem for you. (I wonder
what kind of shape the Nvidia driver is in ? Are all
these features working yet ?)

The only weakness I see in this Asus 6150 offering, is they should
have included TV-out on the back panel, rather than forcing the
user to go looking for an adapter somewhere. I also notice that
the Nvidia web page above, doesn't mention TV-out as a feature.

Your assessment is pretty much in line with mine. This board is not
available yet, even from Newegg (this week, supposedly), but it looks like a
nearly ideal solution for the non-gamer. Think I'll pull the trigger on it.
Thanks.
