Why my Outlook connector doesn't download new messages at all?!

Hello Everyone,

I installed Outlook Connector, latest version, and also I added a new
account, however, I noticed that it doesn't download new messages at all,
just download the messages from the day which I installed this software, even
I click Send Receive button, however, it still didn't download new messages
at all(I have a lot of messages in my hotmail inbox)! What is happening to my
Outlook Connector? Any settings? I have tested in two PCs, same result, oh,
my god!

Can you help me? :)

Did this problem just start yesterday or today (10/30 or 10/31)? I ask
because there is another post here by _Jeff_ (top of list) stating that this
started TODAY (10/31) while I have the same issue but it started YESTERDAY
afternoon (10/30).

Lee, do the following:
Open Outlook.
Look on the lower right of your screen. You should see your Hotmail account
and, immediately to the right, Server Status with a warning icon (yellow
triangle w/ an exclamation). CLICK on that icon.
NotePad should open with the error information. Near the bottom you'll
probably see something line the following:
Time: 10/31/2007 7:22:49 AM
Error in Mail
There is an error synchronizing your mail account. Please verify your
account has been configured correctly by first accessing your mail on the web.
Error: 4102. Client. Cannot change immutable data: MessageClass.

If this is the case then I don't have a solution for you, unfortunately.
What this DOES prove is that this isn't an issue with your computer
only...not Safety In Numbers...more like Misery Loves Company.

Keep checking back. Enough people will start screaming that a fix will come
along soon...I hope.

Hmm, so strange problem. After I sent this post, the issue disappreared!

I reviewed the log, like this:

Error: 4350.

The warning icon indicates that the sync with Calendar, however, I still
confused about "download issue".

Who has a workaround? Let's share!
 
I am glad that this problem isn't happening to you anymore. Connector just
started working again for me the next day as well.

I don't know what error 4350 points to. You could try to Google an
answer...but, at this point, why bother? As long as it's working, you're in
great shape.

I am disappointed by the lack of help available for Connector from
Microsoft. When asked for the Product ID, it rejects the ID from my
installation..."wrong format."

Forums like this are useful mostly if someone with Intimate Knowledge Of The
Product chips in to spread the knowledge to those who need it. It was good to
find that it wasn't just my installation not working but "nice" didn't solve
the problem.

And what's up with Connector just starting to work correctly again? I'm
happy that it is but this whole situation is, quite frankly, very disturbing.
Maybe it's time to ditch Hotmail....
