Why might Access fail to open?

I have been running Access 2003 successfully for months. It is all properly
updated. Suddently when I try to open the application, the compter tries to
re-install the software. If I provide the disk etc, the application is
re-installed, I get a confirmation message, and then I return to the desktop.
When I click on the icon again, guess what happens? Since last successfully
opening Access, the only change I have made to the PC has been to install
Sage Line 50 Accounting software, but Sage have no record of a conflict with
Access. Any ideas?

1.) The Saga Accounting software may have over-written an Access .DLL or
messed up the Registry

2.) Fully un-install BOTH Saga Accounting and Office/Access; then re-install
Office/Access ONLY and see if it starts up

3.) Call and/or send an e-mail to Microsoft describing your problem
