Why Microsoft Office Word 2007 configures start?

Every time Word 2007 from Home and Student edition of Microsoft Office 2007
is started it takes upto 3 minutes time to configure itself. What should be
done to avoid this waste of time?

Do you also have another version of Word/Office installed? If so, see
http://word2007bible.herbtyson.com/2007/04/15/word-2007-and-word-2003-coexisting/
for a Registry edit that will prevent the reconfiguring.

Log in as the Administrator user, start any Office application, and
accept the End User License Agreement (EULA).
