why Microsoft doesn't shut down the Chinese KMS server vbs.net.cn ???

How about a conspiracy theory? Richard Nixon, Bill Clinton, Steve Ballmer and
the Reptile species flying saucer people are in cahoots with the Central Committee
insiders to advance the interests of the cabal which really controls the whirled?
Keeping Doublya cooperative but ignorant would be a minor challenge - very
doable. Whoops, Richard's deceased. Well, delete him from the list and add...

She does this continually to advertise their existence and point to the
servers "as a service" to those who would want to try to pirate the O/S.

I think news about Vista in any part of the world is on topic in our Vista
general newsgroup. It sure beats clucking over Linux and OS/X.

I think it is because MS is afraid the ChiComs will nuke them if they can't
get their OS for free.

Naw, Bill Clinton couldn't be involved in a conspiracy, he was busy with
Monica! She has the regulation knee pads to prove it!

I agree with the Linux and OS/X statement but not with the former with - at
least with respect to her postings.

microsoft.public.windows.vista.security news group, Janet Chen
The server was operating over the Internet for more than 2 months and
Microsoft DID nothing ??

And you know that Microsoft is doing nothing about this how
exactly? Do you think they have some kind of magic button in
Redmond that when they push it, it immediately shuts down all of
the bad web sites out there?

If you're so concerned about this then how is constantly posting
how to access this site helping the situation?

I am more suspicious than most, I guess. I know that several viruses over
the last few years have been created by the Chinese. Even though they live
in the most tightly monitored society in the history of living creatures,
some how college students keep creating viruses? Give me a break. The
Chinese government creates viruses and the Chinese government creates these
KMS servers. I would be very suspicious and nervous if I were to put a
production PC on one of those sites.

You have been whinging about this for months. No ones cares!!!.

Judging by the replies here, to state that "no-one cares" is a
terminolgical inexactitude.

You stole my "Central Committee insiders" suspects but have neglected to
include the flying saucer people and the others I mentioned. Response
arguing against Bill Clinton's inclusion underrates him - he is able to multitask.

Yeah, like this one "Why are you posting this here? Nothing anyone here can
do about it. If you want to know why MS does or doesn't do something ask
them."
We are concerned with Vista itself, not what authentication servers are
running in China.

This is a public forum, is it not? Anyone can post Vista-related
topics... unless you can point me to a charter or a faq which says
otherwise.

"Vista-related" can be a very loose term.
I'm not here to argue with you Paul-B.
