Why Linux Will Crush Windows 7

Smoking another BOWL? You think some blog is gospel and you get a big
hard-on because someone doesn't like Vista. BFD. Lots of people don't like
Vista, but Billions more don't like Ubuntu!

Remember, Ubuntu was written by geeks for geeks who can't get laid. Ubuntu
is Free and NOBODY wants it. Imagine a Free product that has been Free for
years still is on less than one percent of the desktops out there. That
should tell you all you need to know about that INFERIOR OS.

People would rather pay for quality Microsoft software than use an INFERIOR
OS that doesn't run the most popular software out there.

Give it up.

Linux won't crush the 1.5 % mark by the time Windows 7 is retired.

I laugh at you Alias, for even hoping for that.

It took 15 years for linux to approach 1%.
You're looking at 750 years to get to 50%.

Failed math in school, eh? You obviously don't know what a trend is and
you also don't know what happens in this world when something catches
on. The trend is less Micro$lut and more Apple and Linux. Once your
average computer user realizes how easy Ubuntu is to use, the growth
will be phenomenal, mark my words.

When XP came out, the newsgroup XP General had no mention of Linux. User
friendly Linux hasn't been around for 15 years, more like three or four.
The question is why are you afraid of Linux to the point that you have
to lie about it and make up lies about its users?

Riiiiiiiiiight.

You confuse a fad with a trend.
Riiiiiiiiiiiight.

You did notice in one of the stats sites that you like to quote from,
that in a single month Linux lost 22 % of its users.

Yeah, when Katrina hit.
That's the sign of a fad.

See above.
Perhaps you didn't notice.
As Vlad, I posted from Linux, you stupie.
I'm not afraid of linux.
You're afraid of reality.

You have so many nyms, it's hard to keep them straight and I don't
usually look at headers. So, if you use Linux, why do you feel you have
to trash it?
Every MS newsgroup has had linux trolls.

I'm not a troll. That would be you, Yanaire and Frank.
Just not one like yourself who has been unemployed for such a long stretch.

I own two business and employ people. I haven't worked for someone else
in twenty years. 'Course, that doesn't help your *argument* which is to
discredit the messenger.

22 % of linux users live in New Orleans?

You think as Linux users, they would have seen the weather radar.

Cause I know it ain't Windows.
Windows is written by professionals.
Linux is a hodge-podge of kludge.

Yeah, like how one minute you only install uburptu as a hobby, the next
you had two techs working for you. And you make $14,000/week.

All true.
That's quite a bit to receive in welfare even in the socialist country
you live in.

Lying again, eh? Everyone act surprised.

LOL, yeah, Professional MORONS. Ok "morons" is harsh but.. Experienced
Windows 7 yet? It's laughable as far as being a MAJOR release from what
I have experienced using it. It IS, in most respects, just as reported
by many who have actually USED it: "Windows 7 is what Vista should have
been." How disappointing it was to boot Windows 7 only to find that it
is just a glorified, (And really not so glorious), version of Vista.
Some useful features have been removed, (ie "Classic" interface for
one), and added some ok looking but not so useful features. It should
have had a COMPLETE face lift. Just go here:
http://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/en/category/w7itpro/ and read
the complaints. Don't get me totally wrong, as I do like, and have
noticed that Win 7 is promising, but in many respects it is
disappointing as well. I expected sooo much more!
Linux is a hodge-podge of kludge.

No, a COMMUNITY, (Massive collective effort), that can blaze out a
security update in HOURS rather than weeks/months like Microsoft. A
community that updates not only the OS but all the software you have
installed, and so on. There is a real advantage to a community effort,
whether it be an actual community getting together and say, building a
new park for children, or a community of programmers working together to
carefully improve/update software. "Hodge-podge of kludge" is more an
opinion that fact.

The problem is NOT an inferior OS.
The problem is the software base. -Much harder to overcome, especially in
business.

Yes, you are correct. There isn't anything wrong with Ubuntu at all. For
the users who come here, for the most part, they don't care about Ubuntu.
They just want to get their Vista fixed and move on.

Ubuntu really is worthless to the Microsoft bunch but if you run Open Source
Office or other Open Source software than Ubuntu is just fine.

We are dealing with Alias here and need some "poetic license" :-)
