Why links are broken?

I'm not a beginner of PPT. I've been using it for many years. I'm using 2007
not because I want to but because I have to.

Anyhow, I'm a teacher and inserting many, many tv commercial video clips in
my lectures. I have created a separate folder that contains all video files
and the commercials are linked to this folder. However, whenever I often the
saved file again, even with the same computer, some links are broken and the
commercial clips are not showing. Sometimes, some clips are playing while
others are not playing. I have made many lecture files about a month ago and
I'm trying to review these, but this time, it seems like ALL LINKS are broken
and the video clips are not playing. All video clips are WMA files.

Is there any cure for this? Please help.

The file path might be too long. Create a folder in C:\ and put all videos
and ppt into this folder. Then, re-link the videos (you will need to remove
and re-insert them again) and see if they work this time round.

Thanks for your reply, but that's what I did. In fact, I did it twice and
now, ALL links are broken. Funny thing is that it worked when I first did and
saved it. Any ideas why?

Thanks.
