why is xp slow on network?

Hi
I have a win2000 server and AD on it.
i have several win2000 prof on my network and i have not
any problem with my network connection and domain.
after that I remove all win2000 and install windows xp
with SP1 on my network. but they work slower than previous
win2000 on network (spesialy logining and logoffing are so
slow) .I have do so many searchs about my problem on
net.what is you idea??

If other Operation Systems including w2k don't have the same issue, you may
check the hardware settings, for example, configure all of the computers'
network cards for half duplex. Most Hubs don't support full duplex.
