Why is there no option to import from or export to Excel in Acces.

I installed Access 2003 yesterday as an upgrade to Office 203 standard and am
trying to import from and link to an Excel 2003 spreadsheet. However Access
2003 does not list Excel in its import from, link to or save as dialogue
boxes. Help please

Reregister the dll files

Start Run
regsvr32 msexcl40.dll
regsvr32 msxbse40.dll
regsvr32 mspdox40.dll
regsvr32 mstext40.dll
