Why is the Out Of Office Assistant Not Available in my outlook?

When I choose the Out Of Office Assistant on the Tools menu i get a message
that states "The command is not available". why is this happening?

Do you connect to Exchange Server?
 
I found the solution in another post. Thanks for the help. My OUt of Office
assistant was disabled. Once I enabled it everything worked fine.
