Why is the colour rubbish when the printing wizard has been used?

I have a photo printing wizard with XP, when I print using this the colours
are not right, but when I print normally it is fine. Any ideas?

I have not installed a new printer and used to use this method quite a lot.

If it "used" to work right, you may want to reinstall the drivers. In
addition,
your printer could be ready to "bite the dust". Also check your ink
cartridges
for they may be getting low. Some printers have utilities where you can
check colour balance or run tests under different circumstances. Check
it out.

I can print normally using any other method except the wizard. My printer is
fairly new and my ink is fine. It is as though there is a cast on the
photos. When I have checked the print preference when I am about to print
all the colours are right. I have tried just about everything that I can
think of.
