can you post the results from this in a command window (Start/Run type cmd)
ipconfig /all
in the users accounts control panel, confirm that you are logged in with
administrator rights

Thank you very much for your help! At least I now have a
notion of what´s going wrong.
· You have ICS enabled on an Internet connection
and this network connection is the private connection.
· You are using Windows XP Network Bridge and the
connection is part of the bridge.
· You are using Windows XP Network Bridge and the
connection is the Network Bridge connection.
· You are attempting to enable ICF on an incoming
connection.
· You have not logged on to the computer with an
account that has administrator rights.
· You are attempting to enable ICF when Group
Policy has disabled it.
These are the probable causes. Unfortunately, nothing is
said to how to correct them. Any suggestions on how-to?
