Why is Outlook 2003 flagging all Inbox messages?

Hi everyone,

Hoping someone has an idea why Outlook 2003 is behaving
strangely. Specifically, I've moved my Outlook XP PST
file without any obvious problems -- except that all of
the messages in my Inbox are being flagged automatically,
even new ones that come in.

I cannot figure out how to get Outlook to stop this
strange behaviour, which has resulted in EVERY message in
the Inbox being underlined. There are no rules telling it
to do this; in fact, I created a rule to de-flag all
messages and it doesn't work.

This behaviour is annoying and makes my mail hard to
read. Other email folders are not affected and display
properly (ie no underline or flags).

Has this happened to anyone else? How did you stop it?

Thanks in advance
David Braue

Sounds like a automatic formatting rule. In that specific folder go to
View-> Arrange By-> Custom...-> button Automatic Formatting and see if there
is a rule created for it.
