why is okidata c3200n outputing to file instead of printing?

I recently installed an Okidata C3200N printer. Other workstations have no
problem printing excel. My HP Pavillion zv6000 series laptop will not print
any excel spreadsheet. Instead I get a dialogue box "Output File Name". No
the box to print to file is not checked. BTW other applications do print in a
normal fashion, only Excel is behaving this way.
 
Sounds like the printer is configured to print to the FILE: port
instead of the network.
