Lots of people ADD GOOGLERS TO KILL FILE, because of very low
signal-to-noise ratio. I will do the same in nearest future - as soon as
I learn how to persuade my Thunderbird to filter out everything with
"Organization: http://groups.google.com" in headers.

What if they don't have an *REP* icon? what do you do then?

You can't. Thunderbird is very bad at Newsgroup filters.
What you CAN do is to delete all messages from Gmail or Googlemail addresses
as 99% of googlegroups posters use a Gmail address...
 
It is not to my query that I am talking about. It is my 2 answers to the OP in this
thread and about his issue which is not here and I show as deleted .
