WHY IS MY INTERNET EXPLORER CENTERED?!?!

Various websites I view have become centered for no
reason. I have no idea what kind of problem it is. I use
Win XP Home Edition SP1 and IE 6 SP1. For instance,
messageboards and blogs have the text all centered. I'm
GUESSING it may be a Java problem, but then again, I
don't know beans about technical stuff with compueters. I
would really appreciate if someone could help.
