Why is my FrontPage website running so slow?

I'm taking care of two websites, www.osceola-county.org and
www.osceola.alliance.org. Both websites are running very slow. I've messed
the second one up trying to fix this problem. I've currently swithed back to
FP 2002 because I thought maybe the switch to 2003 caused the problem. Any
ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Have you contacted your web host regarding the issue with both sites?

It's most likely a problem with the servers, not the version of FrontPage
you're using.

Both websites are using a counter/stats script fr bcentral. This is
most likely slowing things doen.
Also note that the script should be placed AFTER the body tag, not
before it - this may even speed up the loading of the page.

Hover buttons on www.osceola-county.org will even further slow things
down. And for those users with Java disabled or not installed (there
are significant numbers of these users) Hover Buttons will be useless.
