why is my document locked? I cant type

im trying to finish my school summary, my teacher sent it to me and now i
cant type on it!
 
Possibility 1: You using a trial version of the software and now it's
expired. Time to pay for it.

Possibility 2: You didn't activate the product. Word *must* be activated or
it will lock up after 50 uses.

Possibility 3: You didn't give us enough information to help you.
 
I already activated it and everything the thing is that it wont let me type
because it says its locked

If you see Unprotect Document on the Tools menu, click on it.
