I don't know what it is that press, but sometimes I press a button (or
possibly 2) and CAPS LOCK comes on and stays on. I can't seem to turn it off,
and usually have to save the file, exit, and restart. If someone could please
tell how I'm doing it, and more importantly, how I turn it off, it wouldf be
much appreciated.

Try clicking your Caps Lock button

It's not the CAPS LOCK button that is the problem. I'm sorry, I know I said
that CAPS LOCK comes on, but that was just to say that CAPS LOCK is on.
Nothing seems to fix the problem, pressing CAPS LOCK or holding SHIFT, the
letters still come out uppercase. When it happens, I press every single
button on the keyboard, but nothing, that is why I said I might be pressing 2
buttons.

Anyone with a fix???

Look up "sticky keys" in Windows Help.
In particular, check the accessibility settings for "sticky keys" and "Lock
modifier keys when pressed twice in a row".

Thank you very much for your insight. I will try that and see if it works.
Much appreciated.
