Why is defender not in my taskbar like beta1 ?

Why is beta 2 not in my taskbar and how do i make sure its running ? I set
it up to scan @0800 today but it still shows the most recent scan is
yesterday @1400. Is it b/c it waits a full 24hrs after the first scan?

It only shows when there's a problem. I think that was a bad decision. It
should be there in the Notification Area and change colors if there's a
problem.

Thanks Frank, I have a limited computer knowledge, However, I did think everything was running as planned but I just wanted to make sure, and i agree with you it should be on the taskbar and the color changing is a great idea you should drop that one in the suggestion box! Thanks again!
