Why is a Hopper Error?

I have Windowx XP Home Edition. For some reason I have started getting an error that says, Hopper must close sorry for the inconvience. The normal everyday error in other words. I first thought it had something to do with the net but then it does it when I'm just on desktop and not connected. I have searched for Hopper in my PC and found nothing. Please help me stop this.....It is very annoying and it is an error that needs to be fixed.....Thank You.

I know there's a more complex answer to this question, but
let's try the "simple" first. And if that doesn't work,
we will move on.

First, clean boot Windows XP:

Also, check for spywares using the Lavasoft Adware
removal, download from here:
