Hi Experts:

My IE6 browser (with default security settings) keep popping up the
"Security Warning" MessageBox on an ActiveX control which has already been
installed, no mater how many times I responded with "Install". I have been
using the same ActiveX for a long time and this is the only time I
experience this strange behavior. Any explanation is appreciated.

Thanks in Advance !

Hi Polaris :-)

You don't mention the version of Windows you are using, but, try the
following and see if it helps:

Go to Tools>Internet Options>Advanced.
Check the box to "Disable script debugging."
Uncheck the box to "Display a notification about every script error."

or..

Disable the Script Debugger in IE (Line 142) - Win XP
http://www.kellys-korner-xp.com/xp_tweaks.htm

also...

If you happen to have any toolbars installed,
like Google's or Yahoo's, close IE then uninstall the program(s) through
Add/Remove programs then open IE again. See if that resolves the problem.

If you have McAfee:

Disable the McAfee ActiveX controls Applet filters in the Internet Filter
window when you select Customize your VShield settings

"Your current security settings prohibit running Active X controls on this
page. As a result pages may not display correctly."
http://www3.telus.net/dandemar/acxen.htm
or
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;EN;Q319585&LN=EN

Allow active content to run in files on My Computer - Windows XP Service
Pack 2:
http://www.winxptutor.com/lmzunlock.htm

In Internet Explorer, on the Tools menu, click Internet Options. On the
Advanced tab, scroll down to the Security section of the list. Select the
Allow active content to run in files on My Computer check box, and then
click OK.

also....

If the Internet Security level is set to high then it will be blocking
ActiveX
controls: Set the security level to Medium.

Hope this helps.

Thanks for your information. I have tried but it is still happening on both
Xp and Wind2K. I'm using IE6 with latest updates. It has been working fine
but the problem suddenly shows up, not sure what caused it.
